The Book Fair is here!  The book fair with last until February 6th.  You can also experience the Book Fair online! 

You can:
 

  • see the book fair's dates and times
  • browse a selection of titles and watch videos about featured books
  • purchase books online.

If your child purchases a book, his or her teacher's name will be put in a drawing.  The teacher whose name is picked will win a book for the classroom!

If your child purchases $10 or more book fair product in a one time purchase, his or her name will be put in a drawing for a gift certificate to the book fair!

During parent/ teacher conferences, the fair will be open until 6 pm.

Porum's Book Fair!

A special thanks goes to April Harrison for the beautifully decorated door!


Livestock helper sale is this Saturday, January 28th.  The dinner will begin at 6pm, and the auction will begin at 7pm.  Please come support our livestock show participants!


Livestock show participants need to bring a dessert and items to be auctioned to the helper sale, January 28th.


The local livestock show is Saturday, February 18th at noon.  Come see the hard work our students have put into the care of their animals!


Seniors need to fill out their FASFA.  Scholarships for most colleges are due at the end of February.  Carl Albert applications are due by February 1st.  Click on "Counselor" underneath the "Junior High & High School" tab above for more information.


Discover Your Heritage with TRACE and Leave a Legacy!
 

  • Every Tuesday TRACE will host an afterschool enrichment program to benefit the youth in Cherokee Nation.  There will be a themed event each month, complete with hands on crafts and snacks.
  • The program is for all community members, ages 4th grade to adult.
  • This month, provided sewing projects will be given in donation to local nursing homes.
  • 4-H projects welcome~ Start them now!

 Once again the elementary is collecting box tops for education .  Just clip the box tops off of participating products, put your child's name on the back and drop them in the box located outside the nurse's office.  At the end of the year Mrs. McCullar will draw names out of the box for prizes! The elementary has raised $300 the last couple of years, so let's see if we can beat that this year!
