HS English/ NHS Adviser
Greetings, I graduated from Porum Schools in 2006. Fun fact, I am a second-generation graduate from Porum. I attended Connors State College, graduating in 2008. After a little bit of a break, I went to school at Northeastern State University, graduating in December of 2020.
I received a Pre-Education degree from Connors State College. During my time at Northeastern State University, I received my degree in English Education. I am certified to teach English from grades 5 to 12.
I started officially teaching at Porum in August of 2021. However, I started as a substitute for Porum 2013. It has been a lot of fun watching everyone throughout the years.
Porum is my first school to use my degree at. However, during my last semester at Northeastern State University, I interned at Warner Public Schools. Before discovering my love of teaching English to a bunch of high school students, I taught for Muskogee County Headstart. It is a big difference between preschool and high school.
